Jagan likely to meet PM today

Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy returned from his London tour on Tuesday morning. He is scheduled to go to New Delhi on Wednesday to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and other Central leaders.

His visit to Delhi assumes significance in the backdrop of the dramatic arrest of TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday in connection with Rs 371-crore skill development scam.

Several Opposition parties including BJP termed the arrest of the former Chief Minister as illegal without any prior notice and including his name in the FIR. After his arrest he was made an accused. The Chief Minister was received at the Gannavaram Airport by Deputy Chief Minister B Mutyala Naidu, Ministers J Ramesh, K Nageswara Rao.
